8am – Power Quality and Energy Efficiency and Their Relationship

Abstract

This session will discuss power quality fundamentals, impact of renewable energy systems, non-linear loads and how poor power quality will impact energy efficiency and reliability.
Discussion will include how poor power quality adversely impacts energy usage and information of the impacts of poor power quality related to facility and maintenance cost, equipment longevity and uptime.
Session shall wrap up with an overview of the hardware and software solutions that shall simplify root cause analysis through the creation of actionable insights for the end user.
