Why do we do this?

The HEL is committed to giving back to those companies and their employees that make up our membership. One focus of the scholarship is to raise awareness of our industry in order to try and attract new talent into our industry while helping our members pay for their child’s education. We also want to provide current employees in our industry with assistance in their continuing education in order to better themselves and their company.

How do we do this?

Directly from membership dues collected from our corporate members, student members, and individual members. Our commitment is that 100% of all membership dues collected in a calendar year will be distributed in the form of scholarships. Your individual or corporate membership dues will directly support the scholarships that we award each year. That is our commitment.
The HEL offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to meet the needs of young students and employees of our member companies.
