8am – Considerations for Designing Optimal Power Distribution Feeder Systems for Various Project Installation Conditions

Abstract

Each project presents unique design challenges for safely routing feeder systems to transition from gen-sets to buildings. This session will review options to address these situations, which can include: space constrictions for running high current in a small footprint, maintaining operational temperature, maintaining short circuit rating of equipment throughout the feeder system. Attendees will also understand how to calculate ampacities of a cable bus systems to meet NEC 317-10 and ANSI C22.2 273-19 Cablebus standard requirements.

Presenter
